Tree Nursery Production Worker
April to October
We are a family-owned and operated Tree Nursery in Beaumont, Alberta, ten minutes south of Edmonton. We are currently looking to fill the positions of Nursery Production Worker. This position deals with various plant propagation and development from the ground up. The successful applicant should be able to lift and carry 25kg (50 lbs). This position involves but is not limited to planting and storing bare root trees, transplanting and maintaining woody shrub material, transplanting and maintaining containerized trees, and shipping and receiving. If you want to learn about the production of woody plant material on the prairies or love to work outside with plants, this is the position for you.
Nursery Sales Associate
May to October
We are currently seeking high-energy people who love being outside, working with plants and can provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. If you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy working with people, this is your place. This position is the company representation our customers rely on for guidance and help in picking the perfect plants. We require someone who can talk to people, help them with their questions, and is enthusiastic to learn about the plants. Responsibilities include; Plant care and maintenance, maintaining the sales area for tidiness and cleanliness, tagging trees, loading trees and shrubs, and cash and carry sales using the POS system. Being on your feet all day in all kinds of weather and having a neat and presentable appearance is required.
