Holmstrup Cedar
This is a semi-dwarf, evergreen with dense, apple-green needles which are produced in overlapping, flattened sprays that radiate vertically. It requires deep, moist, yet well-drained, fertile soil. Frequently commended for its hardiness, it is deer resistant and will survive the coldest winter frosts, even if some parts of the foliage turn brown. Displays excellent colour retention throughout the winter . Its slow growth rate means that no routine pruning is required. Any brown foliage should be cut out in spring
