Description :
This is an all round beautiful plant. It is extremly hardy, drought tolerant, has great seasonal interest and will even tolerate some shade. It's arching habit can be enhanced with thoughtful pruning.The fruit of this plant is the typical Maple winged samara, but it has a wonderful quality of turning red early in the fall, before the leafs, giving it a fruit tree appearance without the fruit tree mess. The samaras then tone down to and stay a soft golden hay color, while the foliage turns fantastic orange to scarlet.
